Went to take meter reading on our gas meter yesterday afternoon. Totally blank and which button you press nothing will light up. I'm presuming battery must have gone.
What's process of getting it sorted?
Emails, WhatsApp and phone calls have been a waste of time since then
I can try to ask @PeterT_EONNext to pull a reading remotely if it's a smart meter, but otherwise it'll need to be replaced. I'll ask Pete if he can help with that.

I'm sorry to hear that your gas meter display isn't working - if none of the buttons are waking up the meter, it is more than likely that the internal battery has gone and the meter will need to be replaced.
I understand that you've emailed, sent us a message on WhatsApp and called in, when you say this has been a waste of time, what was the response you received?
If you have messaged within the last couple of days (at the time of your writing) responses are taking longer than usual right now as we've received a lot of contact across all areas. Anyone you speak to will know that this is a faulty meter and that an appointment will need to be booked to get this sorted for you.
I can see you posted this 3 days ago now, have you had this resolved yet?
