I have turned the unit off and on but still not displaying the gas. Electric is fine. It’s annoying as I previously had smart meters (SMETS1) and IHD with NPower and that never worked from day one so had high(er) hopes. Anything else I can try?

Hi, I had 2 smart meters (SMETS2) nearly 3 weeks ago and all was well with the IHD until about a week ago when I stopped getting the gas readings.
I have turned the unit off and on but still not displaying the gas. Electric is fine. It’s annoying as I previously had smart meters (SMETS1) and IHD with NPower and that never worked from day one so had high(er) hopes. Anything else I can try? -

It takes up to six weeks for the full commissioning process to go through so I'd probably suggest waiting a bit longer for now.
With that said, the IHDL SmartView 2 is a TERRIBLE IHD so you might want to consider an alternative.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

i thought these IHDs were due to be phased out in the installation of new smart meters. It seems to me to be another instance of disregard for the customers interest from Eon Next.Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
