Hello, my tariff changed on June 25th and since then our IHD (SmartView2) has not updated to show the new prices.
After a lot of pointless back and forth with hi@eonnext.com, they've told me that "we are not able to communicate with your IHD due to it not bing compatible with EON NEXT. The resolution is to purchase and new compatible IHD" followed by a link to buy a new one... for fifty quid.
This sees like duff advice to me, since EON NEXT supplied the IHD in the first place when they fitted the smart meter less than a year ago, and since it was working just fine until the tariff change.
Am I wrong? If not, any idea how I can get the IHD to update without having to speak to hi@eonnext.com again? Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about the experience you've had when contacting us, it looks like there's been some confusion over what needed to be done when you got in touch about your Smart Meters, I've fed this back to the individuals you've spoken to to ensure this doesn't happen again in future.
I've sent an update out to both of your meters to update the tariff information so your usage is showing correctly, this should update tomorrow on your IHD.
Please let me know if this doesn't happen so I can discuss this further with our metering team.
