I've always paid by variable quarterly direct debit as I have a smart meter. I had a bill in January (correct) a bill in April(correct) but then a bill in June, a month too early, and now I've had an email saying you are taking more money on the 11th July!? This is not quarterly as agreed. Are you thinking I won't notice that you have basically moved me on to paying each month.

Have you recently been transferred to eon-next?
Eon-next operate monthly billing and this would have been communicated to you as part of the transfer process. -
It's also worth mentioning that pretty much every energy supplier is slowly moving towards only offering monthly billing and monthly payments. Quarterly bills and payments are being slowly sunset and deprecated across the entire market. You'd be hard pressed to find any supplier that still offers quarterly billing to new customers. It's not just me who's seen that either - my friend Blastoise186 (who helps out on the OVO Forum) has seen it too.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...
