I hope the SCAMERS read this, as I will be moving from this ???????, as soon as things get back to normal, I have been with E-ON for over 20 years, paod my bills every quarter on time, and always rounded up the bill, these SCAMERS have changed the way I pay my bill, and threatend me with BAILIFFS, I work from 07.00 to 17.00+ so I have not been able to phone them, and am paying the DEMAND every month, and will be changing PROVIDERS as soon as possible, not happy with the treatment I have had so far, and this is the first Month, what will it be like in the future ?

    Hi @MrMicSmith

I'm sorry to hear about what's happened with your account, and receiving anything regarding debt collection.

We do have field debt agents that can visit if there's no payment on an account, however, this only usually happens after a significant amount of time has elapsed, as there are usually around 4 reminders sent a while before this stage. It definitely doesn't sound like something is right if your account has only been with us for one month.

If you have an outstanding balance on your account and you're receiving information like this so soon after your account has joined us, it would be best to speak to customer services as soon as possible to discuss this in depth, as we can't view your account from here.

I understand that you're working during the hours that our lines are open, but we have lots of other ways you can get in touch. We also have WhatsApp, which we're currently operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so it's never been easier to get in touch ๐Ÿ˜„ You can also email us of course, you can find all the details in my signature below.

In relation to your bills, here at E.ON Next, we don't bill quarterly as we bill monthly instead. There are many reasons and benefits as to why we bill you this way and you should have received a welcome email/letter from us explaining this when your account moved over to us.

To find out why we bill monthly, you can visit our FAQ's page here - There's also a helpful PDF you can download/view which explains this in more details at the top of that page.

@PeterT_EONNext Hello Peter, I have been with E-ON for over 20 years paying my bill every Quarterly, I always rounded my bills UP, E-ON NEXT sent me a letter just over a month, telling me they are taking over, all they have done so far, has been a bully towards me, telling me I had to change to Monthly bills, then I get a letter saying they are getting the baillifs in if I did not pay my bill straight away, the letter was dated 8 days before I received the letter, I also got a phone call from a foriegn person, saying they were from E-ON NEXT, demanding to know security questions ?

@MrMicSmith It sounds like you do need to get in touch with customer services to get this cleared up, as this isn't a customer service platform, I won't be able to view/discuss your account over this forum I'm afraid. If you get in touch with customer services, an Energy Specialist will be more than happy to have a look over this with you though ๐Ÿ˜„

I'm not sure who called you, however, please be aware that our call centres are UK based. Our workforce is made up of people from all walks of life and we're proud of our diversity here at E.ON Next.

The security questions are necessary so that we can be sure we're speaking to the account holder if a representative of E.ON Next ever calls you. If you're ever unsure who's called you, the best thing to do would be to call the number you can find on your bill or on our website, this way, you know you're speaking with someone who works for E.ON Next.

Just for future reference, please have a read of our Community Values which outlines how the Community works ๐Ÿ˜Š

I hope that you can get this resolved soon.

    Pete ๐Ÿ˜Š
