we might be able to advise you but we'll need more information.
If you pay by direct Debit and you have a large enough credit on your account, Eon next will usually return it to you upon request , after they've rest your DD to an appropriate level reflecting current usage and tariffs. Whether their reason for not wanting to refund your credit is valid or nor will depend upon the detail - the devil is in the detail!
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
You could try emailing ceo@eonnext.com @Zod79. My advice would be to try to be as clear and concise as you can, what you asked for, when, what they said they would do etc.
@Zod79 Do you want to pop me a message with your account details and I can see what we can do! I will also look at the progress of that complaint for you too 😊. I am off for the weekend now, so if I don't reply until late on Monday just know I am not ignoring you🤓
I think that's something that you'll need to decide for yourself @Zod79, it's not something that I've had much experience of.
It would depend on the nature and severity of the complaint and of course it needs to be reasonable. I think the minimum tends to be around £25 and I would be surprised if many get £100. Good luck.
@meldrewreborn a few screenshot s this has been a month coming up to 2 month.. its not mearly waiting for the cheque, they have violated me, and are holding this up purposely it feels like, as my reading wad questioned , so I was lied to and mislead because Eon conducted checks on my meter without informing me, this took time to complete for them, and all thr time I am calling them online contact also, because it took time..but then they finally finished, then put refund request at that point and was on its wY since 9 June.
