Yes please, I would like to get this sorted out.
how to read EDMI ES-12B

Does the price per kWh on the IHD match either of the rates shown on your account or is it different?
Your IHD will only ever show one number, it shows the price per kWh that's currently being charged, so it will change with the Day/Night rates. You will never see both rates at the same time on the IHD which is why you need to note the prices and compare with what's shown on your account @Alien. -
07/05/22 smart reading obtained from my online account- day 4573 night 6792 add those two numbers to get 11365
Today 47 days later I see only one KWh reading on my meter 11868. It appears that day and night readings have been combined.
My IHD only shows meter reading 11868.313 KWhLast edited by Alien; 25-06-22 at 11:12.

I found the charge rate on the IHD. IHD shows only one rate of credit tariff per KWh which is 34.17P which matches the rate on my account. It doesn't show a night rate. -
The IHD only shows the current price per tariff per kWh, if you're on E7 you cannot see both rates at the same time, it will only show the rate that you are currently being charged. So if you are now seeing 34.17p and that is the same as your Day Rate on your account then you can be fairly sure that you are still on E7.
This is why I suggested looking at 7am because you should have seen the lower night rate price per kWh.
As soon as @theunknowntech is available you'll get instructions on how to get both readings from your meter. -
I'm still no closer to finding day, night reading from my meter. Looking at the meter it scrolls through 3 readings. IMPRT 11882 EXPRT 00000 BILL 74.78. I presume IMPRT is what I've used, EXPRT is what i'd have exported if I had solar panels and BILL looks like a made up number. This meter is impossible to make sense of.
Unfortunately, I overslept yesterday and today, so I wasn't able to check my IHD
On eon.next website it's been 51 days since a reading was taken, and they're asking me to take a reading. I thought the whole idea of having a smart meter was that the process was automatic.
My monthly payments were £71, then it was raised to £100, and now it's £165.74. I need to get a reading -
I don't think your meter is set up for Economy 7 somehow. Just a hunch.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Either way, I think it's best I get @PeterT_EONNext on the case. Something's clearly not right here.
