I had smart meters (both gas and electricity) installed on the 14th of April. They're communicating perfectly fine with the IHD but I'm yet to see any readings appear on my actual account.
I thought it might have to wait until the next full billing cycle but that has now passed and still nothing. I haven't been able to check the gas meter but according to the citizens advice checker, the electricity meter is running in smart mode.
When can I expect them to send regular readings? or does someone need to give them a prod to wake them up?
Your meters should have submitted something by now. Could you take some photos of everything for me please? As many as possible from different angles would be great, as they really help me out. If you could also make sure to include a few that clearly show the displays lit up, that'd be smashing. :)
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Well, it looks like it's all working. Just a quick check though, and this is a pretty easy one to do!
Above the electric meter, you should see a Comms Hub marked with WNC and SKU1 Cellular Comms Hub. There's five green lights on the right of it labelled SW, WAN, MESH, HAN and GAS. Please could you tell me which ones light up and flash/pulse and how often each one does so? They're diagnostic indicators and are an absolute dream for me to work with!
@theunknowntech
All the lights other than mesh seem to be flashing (So SW, WAN, HAN and GAS). They all flash together every 5/6 seconds.
*Edit* Just to check I'm not being dumb I've attached a screenshot from my account. I am correct in thinking that meter readings would appear here (and it wouldn't say it's been so long since a reading/no reading at all)

You're not the only one lol. And thanks by the way, it's appreciated. I work with my friend Blastoise186 a lot and he taught me pretty much everything I know. Blastoise patrols the OVO Forum mainly, while I patrol this one. We don't participate in any of the others because they're either WAY too big and clunky (e.g. MSE Forum) or the community health is just too terrible that it's unsalvageable at this point, like on the Scottish Power community.
This place didn't have great health when I first joined, but I've turned it around with Blastoise's help - and we don't get paid to do this either! :P
Pete is back today by the way, but it'll take a while for him to catch up with everything. He'll be around when he can.
I'm sorry to hear about what was happening with your Smart Meters.
I've checked over a few things and everything is working as expected, we've taken some readings now for yesterday and I've also issued you an up to date statement.
Going forwards, I've set your your account to take the readings on the 10th of each month so from 10th July onward, this should all happen automatically, but please let me know if this doesn't happen.
Pete 😊
