@bkrfemHan_EONNext Hi, we were moved to E.on when Igloo ceased trading. Our smart meters (installed by Scottish Power) which didn't work for Igloo, automatically turned back in for E.on. So, we dug out the in home meter, and that works fine, but is still showing an incorrect tariff (we have been on our current tariff since 1st March). Today, I finally had a response via Twitter to say, here's a link to purchase a new meter (for £49.99 + p&p!) I responded that the IHM isn't broken, but needs to be sent the new tariff data by E.on. I was then given detailed instructions to reset the IHM which I have followed, but it has made no difference to the tariff on the display. Reading this thread, it seems that the co-ordinators can change the tariff, so please can someone do mine?

Sorry to hear this is what you were told when you contacted us on Twitter (definitely don't buy a new one as this is completely unnecessary!)
I can actually see who you spoke to and I've given them a little bit of feedback so that they don't advise this again in future, as well as what they needed to actually do of course! 🤦♂️
I've sent a tariff update to your meters and the prices should update within the next 24 hours, let me know if they don't though and I'll have a further look into it, but tomorrow, the prices should be correct for you.

.
Hi @PeterT_EONNext my in home display updated the gas but not the electricity, if i view my electric tariff it just says “def cal” it is show energy usage in kWh but not £cost, how can I get the smart meter to send the cost info to the in home display? Many thanks
edit…
The in home display is a British Gas one, if i use the menu on the display it will give me the reading of the meter so I know it’s communicating with the smart meter, I just can’t understand why it doesn’t show me the current cost of electric being used
@PeterT_EONNext Good Morning Pete, My IHM has updated (thank you) and the rates have gone up but they HIGHER than my August bill (we are on a one year fixed rate from 1st March 2022). On my bill, electricity is 27.1p/kWh and gas is 7.123p/kWh. The IHM now says electricity: 28.45p/kWh and gas: 7.47p/kWh. Any ideas? Sue
I think that when you've looked at the prices on your bill you have seen the ex VAT tariff prices, the costs on your IHD should include VAT. If I add 5% (VAT) on to the bill prices you've quoted they are exactly the same as what your IHD is showing.
Howdy!!
@Dtank - this is all done and scheduled for you 😊
@Nmaunder - that is very annoying! You are correct, it is still connecting with us so not to worry about that. I have just fired off another message to get this all sorted for you! If it has not worked in 48 hours then please come back and let us know!
