I'm told by a friend that I cannot leave a contract with an energy supplier, half way through a variable or a 12 month fixed contract without some kind of fee.
Is this true of Eonnext, as the only alternative tariffs offered me are:
As far as I am aware there are no notice periods or exit charges with eon next tariffs.
Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Actually, you can always leave any contract with any supplier at anytime, fixed or variable without notice regardless of supplier. Exit fees never apply to variable rate tariffs, but some suppliers do apply them to fixed rate deals - the Tariff Information Label will always reveal any potential fees.
