Can anyone tell me how to book a smart meter installation appointment through my online account? Clicking on the "book a smart meter installation" button merely flips me back to my account page... very frustrating especially as this is supposed to be an online account 🤔
Hmm... Looks like a possible bug there. Let me ask @Beki_EONNext to flag that up.
In the meantime, customer service should be able to get that upgrade booked in for you.

Hm..I wonder why it could be doing that. Do you have a smart meter (the older types?) or have you previously had an attempt to install previously? This is usually the main reason for this happening. Have you spoken to our Energy Specialists on FB/Twitter/Whatsapp since posting?

Thanks for your reply. No I just have the original meters, no one has attempted to install a smart meter previously as I've never been able to book an appointment. I haven't been able to talk to anyone as do not have facebook/twitter/whatsapp accounts. Making these the Company's preferred choice of communication makes it very difficult for those customers like me who don't have these accounts. Live chat would be useful...
