I topped up £3 on both electric and gas yesterday to check it worked, electric worked almost straight away and had confirmation, gas did not and am still waiting, £6 has been taken from my bank…
As @San has kindly mentioned, we will not disconnect the supply over the bank holiday so please don't worry too much about going off supply.
Theres many issues currently surrounding the smart pay as you go accounts, and our team are fully aware of it and working really hard to recify it ASAP.
We are hoping this is a one off isolated event and will not happen again. This is only temporary and the balances will be going through at a delayed rate (hopefully by today).
I know it is very frustrating, but if things haven't changed please get in contact with our teams tomorrow if this is not fixed.

I am having the same problem with Gas top up since being with Eon Next, put £15 on this morning at 11am, and although it has been taken from my Bank and it shows as a payment on my Eon Next account details, it is not showing on the meter screen. I phoned Eon Next and apparently it is a fault their end, and as it is the weekend and bank holiday I will not be disconnected. I was told if it is not showing on the meter screen by Tuesday to ring again and payment will be 'pushed through'. Don't fancy doing this every time I top up, which is frequently with the gas as it seems to be eating it at a superfast speed! 😕
