my smart reader sends gas and electric readings to eon next on 17th of each month and i get a bill the next day.
In march 2022 the gas meter did not send a reading on the 17th march.
Worryingly an eon next advisor on the phone could not even connect and pull a gas reading because there was no connection or signal to the gas smart meter. They said the connection will be fixed in next few days and it will be resolved and i shouldnt worry.
The gas smart reading has not been sent again on 17th april 2022.
Why is my gas smart reading not being sent last 2 months?
Can eon next connect to get a gas reading now or is there still no signal and connection?
I had to get a bill last month by giving a manual reading for both gas and electric on 18th march. I have a smart meter but i dont want to keep giving manual readings for gas.
The eon next advisor said it could be a DCC issue and the signal should be increased so gas readings can be sent but that should be fixed for me before 17th april. This has not happened and a gas reading was not sent again.
Hopefully this issue is not avoided like last month by saying it will resolve on its own when clearly it has not and please get this resolved for me now.
Thanks for your PM by the way. Could you share some photos in this thread please? I'm afraid photos sent via PM on this forum are glitchy and tend to self-delete due to a bug in vBulletin that can't be fixed (Standing on Giants refuses to upgrade this thing to vBulletin 5 and instead use vBulletin 4 which went end of life in 2017!).

Hello the facebook messenger advisor have told me to keep waiting until it can be passed to the smart team. This is not helpful.
I have seen on the forum that the same issue like mine e.g. gas reading not being sent, has been resolved so i am hoping you can do it for me @HannahD_EONNext @PeterT_EONNext @theunknowntech
The moderators here have a few extra tools they can try to use first. If that fails, it will probably have to be escalated but the mods can arrange that.
I'm afraid I don't have access to those tools as I'm only a forum volunteer.
