I am going to have an electrician instal an EV Wallbox charger to my home as the lead time for most commercial suppliers is 4 months. Do I need to tell E-ON?
Do you have to tell your supplier that an electrician installed an EV Charger?

I shouldn't think so, but if the supply need upgrading to cope with the additional consumption you might need to do so.
also if you want to get a 2tier metering arrangement (to take advantage of lower off peak rates) that too would mean you have to put your head above the parapet!Current Eon Next and EDF customer, ex Zog and Symbio. Level 7826-04-22Yeah, generally the supplier doesn't need to be informed, unless you either need to make changes to the meter/supply somehow or plan to go onto an EV specific tariff.
When it comes to the increased electricity usage, this should be handled by the system automatically and your payments will be adjusted if needed.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...
