We are on 1 bill for gas and 1 bill for electricity. We are trying to get these condensed into 1 dual fuel bill and 1 direct debit (so we can get a SMART METER). Any idea how we can get Eon Next to a/ talk to us and b/ make this happen?
This shouldn't be a blocker that I can think of. You should be able to get a smart meter anyway but I think you'll want to chat with customer service to have your accounts completely merged together, as it sounds to me as if you have two separate accounts right now.

It might be worth popping a message over on social media to our digi team to look into this. It all depends on how your account is set up in our system. It could be that your account didn't set up as dual fuel when it came to us. There are lots of things that could affect this such as supplies coming over at different times or slight differences in the address on the national database which meant our system didn't recognise it as dual fuel. If it isn't set as dual fuel on our system then unfortunately at the moment we are unable to change that (we are working on this but have not date for it at the moment) however we should be able to link the accounts so that you can see both in your online account and may be able to set it so your bills are due on the same day.
If it is dual fuel it could be that your billing schedule is set up on different dates, or we have received your readings on different dates however our energy specialists would be able to fix this for you 😊
