I recently put £20 on my gas account and my metre hasn’t updated, I did this last night around 11 pm approx and I was informed that the credit would show up by midnight and it hasn’t.

Wait. Wait and wait some more. I've been waiting since the 15th for my electricity top up to appear. The most useful advice I've had from Eon Next is wait 'a few more hour or DAYS'. Someone actually sent that to me in a message. I was lucky enough to receive an email telling me everything was fixed on Friday, apart from the fact it's not. Completely fed up of Eon Next. Good luck.
If you're still having trouble, I'll see if I can get @DebF_EONNext to force through any pending top-ups. Hang in there for a bit!
