I had a new smart meter over 3 weeks ago as EON Next suggested it would be a good idea as I had a SMETS1 meter. Until the new meter was connected I had an ivie Bud IHD that was providing me with all my usage/tariff details. Since the new meter was fitted neither the supplied IHD or the ivie Bud work. After numerous communications with EON Next they now inform me it could take two months to sort out. The customer service at ivie Bud have been brilliant and have told me that the issue resides with my old meter remaining on the national inventory and until this is removed they can’t do anything to help. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to get this matter resolved quicker as my IHD is a crucial part of my energy analysis. Thanks for any guidance
Chameleon Technology (the company behind the ivie Bud) are correct. They can only re-pair your ivie Bud after the records are updated. Perhaps old timer @PeterT_EONNext can give the process a nudge for you. :)
