Hi, I'm having problems with my top ups not getting to my meter, like so many other people at the moment. I've seen a couple of people mentioning topping up in a shop. How do we go about this please? Seen mention of using a barcode but where do you find this? I don't have a key/card to use to top up as it's a smart meter. My credit is very low now and Eon Next just keep telling me to keep waiting for my credit to appear. It's getting ridiculous!
Edited to add: I found the barcodes on the Eon Next App. Took them to 2 different shops and the post office. It failed to work at each of them. I'm now down to very little electricity credit and still no way of topping up. Eon Next is a shambles.

Did you read my whole answer? I found the barcodes, they didn't work. I wouldn't count that as finding the answer I was looking for. And my electricity meter is still not showing the credit I've been waiting for since the 15th, despite receiving an email telling me everything is fixed.
