I got the email confirming I’d been transferred to EonNext yesterday from Eon and that I should try topping up to make sure everything worked. My electricity top up worked but the gas top up hasn’t. The pending payment on the bank account used to top up is showing the full amount for both top ups, but I’ve had no emails to acknowledge I’ve topped the gas meter, just the electricity. Before EonNext, I used to get a text message within an hour or so if the top up hadn’t reached the meter so I could top it up manually - that this doesn’t happen after the transfer is worrying. Is there anything I can do, or am I just waiting an indefinite amount of time for the top up to work? Not a great start to EonNext for me, it doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence!
Also, the ‘current balance’ shown on the online account is from 25 March, so nearly three weeks out of date. That doesn’t help either. I know I can look at the screen on the meter, but why is the online balance not updating?is there something I can do to put this right?
Edit: Just a quick update - the top up did eventually come through, but not until this morning (22/04) so it took almost an entire week. I’ll be topping up again soon and fingers crossed the same thing doesn’t happen again!

Sounds to me like the system is messing up again. It should go through eventually but there's not much I can think of to suggest right now. I'll try to catch @Beki_EONNext as she's able to try and force these things through.

@HertsH same thing happen to me. top up gas and electricity. electricity credits updated 24 hours after the top up,but gas didn't work, no email confirmation or UTRN. only shown on payment history. my gas last update was on 27/03/2022. no idea what is my gas balance now
This has happened to me!! I was in my emergency credit -92p yesterday so topped up £3 gas and £7 electric as I'm using more electric. I had a text and email saying that my electric has been applied etc but nothing for gas so I thought it was weird. I checked it this morning and I was -£1.50 in my gas so I thought it was just me maybe I didn't check the balance tidy on my meter because this app is showing my balance from last month! So again today I topped up another £3 gas to see if it would work and NOTHING!! Still haven't gone on! They really need to sort it out, the switchover was a bad idea and preferred to stay with eon!

looks like we are all having the same issues. I am still waiting for my gas to credit from the 15th,plus my balance on the App is way out of date it shows the balance as of March.
i reckon the phones will not be anserwed on Tuesday
