Had to meters fitted tuesday was told my gas payment card for the gas meter would be with me by thursday.
card as not arrived so can someone tell when ill be reciving my gas card ????
To be honest, you should have been given the card when the meter was installed. If it still hasn't arrived yet and the meters are not smart meters, I'd probably suggest calling customer service to request a TAG Code so that you can grab another card from a shop. After you get the code, please wait for at least one hour, then head to any PayPoint shop and ask for a new gas card. Please give the shop assistant your TAG Code and they'll program the card for you. Do not top-up yet!!!
Head back home and pop the card in the meter, then follow the instructions to get it registered. You should be free to top-up after that's done.
If they are smart meters, you can get the code you need via customer service for a manual top-up at the shop.
