Help!!! Just topped up my prepayment smart electric meter and i have no confirmation email or text. I used my last Β£4 before i get UC tomorrow, i start work at 8am and I'm not back until after 12. And i don't know how to activate my emergency credit before I go and I;'m worried it will disconnect while i am at work. Which will leave my 15-year-old in the house with no power.
Will my emergency credit kick in on its own? I'm going to get permission from my manger to keep my phone on me so i will keep an eye on the thread.

I believe a colleague may have resolved this for you now, is this the case?
Please know, with your Smart Pay As You Go Meters, you have friendly hours which means between 4pm and 10am weekdays, your supply will remain on even if your credit runs out (and before your top up reaches your meter should their be a delay)
This also goes for weekends. So On a Friday after 4pm, your supply will remain on until 10am Monday even if you only have 1p of credit remaining come 4pm.

Same problem. we've just been moved from E-on to E-on next and the credit we topped up with hasn't gone on to our meter, i preferred the old e-on website set up as you at least got a code to put onto your meter if it was having problems getting the info. Now i get zip, nothing, nadda not even an e-mail confirmation. it's very vexing and having anxity issues as well it makes things so so much more worse because now i'm dealing with panic attacks thanks to this.
