Hiya! You probably know me already, so I think (for once!) I can skip my long introductory jokes. XD
Looks like your electric meter has dropped off the HAN completely, which seems to be some new trend. I'll summon a lifeline in the form of @PeterT_EONNext as this might be an easy fix for him, or it could be a horrible one. Only time will tell. :)
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Hi @Futaura I'm sorry to hear that your electricity meter isn't playing ball! (Sorry)
It's odd that your gas meter is and your electricity meter isn't.
I've sent off a request to the Data Communications Company to get this back up and running as it should be.
It should be soon so come May 2nd, we should receive readings from both as usual 🤞 Of course, let me know if that's not the case!
Pete 😊

Thanks @PeterT_EONNext and @theunknowntech - is there anything I can do at this end, as there seems to be a lot of options available on the electricity meter itself, in the INFO menu? There was a HAN JOIN option, amongst other things, but obviously I didn't go into this (it said to hold ok, but I reversed out of the menu as I didn't know exactly what holding ok would do!) or mess with any menu options that were not obviously informational only as I didn't want to make things worse! I did find an item on there that showed the last communication date, which was as I suspected, 1st March.
HAN Join? That suggests the meter dropped off the HAN completely or never commissioned properly. It might be possible to fix remotely, but there's a small chance yet that an engineer visit might be needed.
You can't break that meter easily. Doing HAN Join yourself would probably have no effect if there's no Comms Hub waiting for the meter...
@theunknowntech It did make me wonder if it is normal and everyone has these menus or whether it had been left in some sort of engineer mode. IIRC, there are three top level menus: billing, info and logs. Billing was the only one I could find documented online.
Hehehe, the latter two are technically more for engineers than customers. However, they can sometimes be useful to a forum volunteer like myself. I just have to be careful about when I ask people to use them. There is also an engineer mode, but it's meant to be locked down. Even I don't know the PIN Codes for engineer modes, because they're kept confidential and well out of my reach. You can read about the one for Aclara meters though as the user manual just so happens to exist on the internet. https://www.smartme.co.uk/documents/...e-Electric.pdf .
Electricity started showing up on my IHD again on Tuesday - happened to notice the orange light was on, while I was making some toast 😀. Hopefully, this means the meter reading will go through automatically for this month too.
