We can certainly get your partner's name added to the account.
It's great to hear that you've sent an email - It's very busy currently so you may not get a response to this right away.
If you don't hear anything back after a week, you can always drop a message on our Facebook or Twitter for an Energy Specialist to get back to you. Due to the nature of your query, we may need to speak to both you and your partner in order to go through security with yourself and then also gain their permission in order to add them to the account (as doing so will make them liable for the bills too)
This can be done via a phone call, so please be sure to provide the best contact number to reach you on in your message/email as well as a time when you'll both be available.

Not that I know of. Its always a good idea to have both names on the account in case of emergencies.
