My gas tariff has not updated to the new extortionate price, could someone please send out the new rates so my IHD becomes relevant again.
I've sent an update out so your gas prices should update on your in home display tomorrow. If they don't show automatically, please reset your in home display unit tomorrow afternoon.
@PeterT_EONNext Hi, I was checking my online account last night. A couple of things I've now noticed.
Like many others since the switch to EONNext, my IHD now displays incorrect Gas Tariff Information. The other thing is that there was a message on my account stating that a Gas reading hadn't been taken for 35 days and was asking for a manual reading. So last night I submitted a manual gas reading. So, I'm wondering, can the IHD be updated, and will the Smart Gas meter eventually begin to send Gas usage like it always has in the past?
One other message I see in my account since I submitted the manual gas reading, every time I log in there is a message suggesting I request a smart meter installation. I already have smart meters for Ggs and Electric which have been without issue for more than a year.
If you post pictures of your meters and the communication hub then @theunknowntech can offer a technical assessment. If you electricity readings are getting through then that is a good sign. The gas meter has a long life battery which is used to facilitate contact with the communications hub.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.

I don't have a communications hub, only the two smart meters. But I see from the Model Number of the Electric Smart meter that it contains the Communications hub. Seeing that the IHD is also correctly updating with both Gas/Electricity Usage figures I'm going to assume that communications between the Gas Smart Meter and built-in communications hub are still working.

I think what I'll do is to wait and see if an automatic reading is taken next month, but in the meantime, I wouldn't mind if the IHD had the correct Gas Tariff information.
In that case, I'll @PeterT_EONNext to make the arrangements to force a tariff update through. It should be done within 72 hours from now (hopefully) but Pete will confirm once he's sent the command. I will also ask him to check the read schedule is set up correctly. If it's not, he'll try to fix that too.
