Not only does the Gas "Smart" meter not work, but now we can't access our FIT Meter account. So we can't input readings which means we can't be paid for the electricity we're generating! In view of the lack of help from Eon Next, I will be contacting OFGEM in the (vain, I suspect) hope that they will be able to do something.

I'm afraid you can't go to Ofgem as they don't handle complaints like this. You'll want to go to the Energy Ombudsman instead. If you go to Ofgem anyway, your complaint will be bounced back.

Thanks. Eon Next is in complete chaos. Smart meters aren't working - my 92 year old father has been told to ask neighbours to read his meter (one of the reasons for having was so that he wouldn't have to do this!); meter readers can no longer be sent to read meters; our "Smart" gas meter isn't working either; the final straw was when our Fit meter account disappeared and we can't input readings and it is impossible to contact anyone at Eon Next to input readings.
