This seems to be a new trend. I'll have to ask @Beki_EONNext and @HannahD_EONNext to investigate further. It's almost as bad as the read schedule bugs.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

I have exactly the same problem. Approximately a year ago my (SMETS2) IHD stopped showing electricity, although from my bills it was evident that the meter was reporting actual usage. I now see that from around December my usage was being estimated, so I have started sending meter readings. Last week I purchased and ivie bud, thinking that the IHD might be the issue, but there is no change. Gas seems to be reporting fine to IHD and to EON Next.
Now I can be fairly sure that the issue is not the IHD it's over to you EON Next. In the past I have had some vague suggestion that there is a system upgrade taking place but that this could take up to 2 years. (seriously?!). For info I am in the Stockport area.
With the new price increases I really need the function of the smart meter to help me manage costs - this was the promise held out to the consumer and now no-one seems interested in helping restore the functionality.
I am really pleased that this forum offers a more direct route to feedback. @Beki_EONNext are you able to help? @theunknowntech do you have any advice?
Since your gas meter is reporting fine, then this indicates that the comms hub is communicating with it and the DCC and Eon next properly. The gas meter reports wirelessly to the comms hub, but the electricity meter is I think hard wired so it should be a better connection - but obviously isn't. If the electricity readings are not getting through this indicates a problem with the electricity meter itself. It could be settings/software/firmware its not possible to tell from a distance. Report the issue? yes, and get them to try to re-establish connectivity remotely. If that doesn't work you will need an engineer to visit.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
