Hi, I had £182 on my electric meter, I added a further £100 today but when I put the key in the £100 didn't show or add on to the £182 however I did get a message above the £182 saying "token accepted" I have never seen this before, my question is has my £100 been accepted and if so why can I not see it?
I'm sorry to let you know this, but I think you may have gone over the top-up limits for your meters. The maximum credit that a key can hold at anytime is about £250 and the maximum top-up per transaction is about £50. An electric meter will accept no more than £255 credit at any given time. It is possible that the credit is still on your electric keys and hasn't transferred yet. You need to burn through almost all your credit before you can top-up again.
If you're trying to beat the price cap, please also be aware that this trick won't work. E.On Next (like all other suppliers) will detect this and reserve the right to apply a debt recovery to your meters to claw back the underpayments.

Following. I’ve just experienced something similar. I had £117 on my electric meter and tried to add more credit, but it hasn’t appeared to have gone on as it still showing £117???
Will have to call them in the morning, if I find out any information I’ll report back here.
I had the same problem today. Topped additional £100 and same thing happened. Went back to the place I topped the key and they told me to contact the supplier. Spent 2h trying to do something and nothing.
