Moved from Scottish Energy to E.ON October 2021
We have smart meter (2nd version) which was sending both gas and electric fine to Scottish Energy. The smart meters in the outside electric and gas meters were both brand new in 2020 and replaced a couple of older versions.
Since moving to E.ON I have raised this issue a few times, I have had a couple of people on here look at it and it ewas supposd to work from March 4th ... I have spoken to Eon on facebook, on the phone, on email, and on here.... I had the most positive actions from here, so I am back...
March 4th came and went and surprise surprise the Electric reading was not sent.
Honestly cannot understand how this "broke" when moving suppliers, and that it is still not fixed 6 yes SIX months later.
Come on someone get this thing working please?
Please show me photos of your meters and IHD, I'll need these in order to help with diagnostics.

The electricity meter seems to say Shell energy but the gas meter Eon Next - although neither are illuminated. Shel doesn't seem to correspond with the history in the post.
Yeah, I noticed that as well. It's something I can get one of the moderators to fix pretty easily, but only if the meter is working as expected. The meter seems to have an unusually weak HAN signal, so I want to see what I can gather based on Deb attempting to grab a reading.
@theunknowntech I was with Shell Energy when the meters were put in, I then went to Scottish Energy. Meters worked fine for both of those providers. Only stopped working when moved to Eon.
