My IHD froze on early in Friday morning. How do I get it working again. Other than the buttons used to check details there are no others so I can't switch it off etc. The screen still shows the same details as when it froze despite being unplugged for over 24 hours.
How do I fix it?
FYI, this is the IHD provided by Eon last year before they switched me to Eon Next at the end of 2021
I'm afraid you've got a faulty IHD and there's nothing you can do other than take the battery out and re-insert it. If you still have problems, please let me know and I can help you to get hold of a new IHD from somewhere else.

@theunknowntech thanks for the tip. Actually, that's what I eventually did. Thankfully, it has worked ever since and, fingers crossed, for a long while yet
No worries. If it happens again, your best bet would be to get something like the ivie Bud instead. If it happens only once, then fair enough it could just be a random fluke. But I know the IHDL SmartView 2 well enough to know yours will likely freeze again at some point... As many of them keep doing on a regular basis...
