The bereavement process is really simple if the new user is named on the account. However, if this is not the case then we simply change the original account to 'the executor' and set up an account for your Mum. Either way, it is a really simple process. I can understand that your Mum may not be in the right place at the moment, but to set the account up in her name, we will need to speak to her on the phone. Our lines are open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday - 0808 501 5200, however, if it is easier, you can pop us a message over on Facebook/Twitter and we can arrange an Energy Specialist to call you back at a time that suits you.
