Hey @cily35, The electric meter is a SMets1 smart meter. The gas meter is most likely a Smets1 too but I cannot check that for you as in the picture I can't see the meter serial number.
I have a SMETS1 Secure Liberty 100 and contrary to the information given on here ( if I read it right!) the glowstick is not suitable, as on their site it states......
"Only suitable for SMETS1 meters that have been enrolled in the DCC and not manufactured by Secure".
So, is my Secure Liberty 100 not compatible? I downloaded the Bright app and sent some figures over to them and they will be back in touch in 48 hrs to let me know.
had my meter installed on monday. immediately thought that the smartview thingee was horrid. disappointing that Eon dont provide something decent. so will continue to use my efergy elite which is old but reliable. just need to check i have the right settings. but i guess the CT clamp just reads current so wont need adjustment
Your Meters should be fine, but you'll need the Hildebrand Glow IHD, rather than the Glow Stick. If Hildebrand determines it won't be compatible, they'll reject the order automatically and return your cash.
Please help I moved from British gas a few years ago and presumed my display wouldnt work as different supplier.
So now I'd like to know how much I'm using I've fished it out to try and use it, can you let me know if it'll work, it's saying connecting to smart meter then nothing happens 🤷♀️
