which relates to "Retrieve Import Daily Read Log" on page 55 and also, supporting @retrotecchies proposition, on pages 203/4 which is in much greater detail. However the system allows two organisation access to the data on change over day, but after that the data should only be accessible by the new supplier, and before that by only the old supplier. on that basis it shouldn't be causing the alleged problem. as access by one or other should be allowed.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
I still have a flatbed USB Canoscan in my office in working order!
Epson parallel port scanners were my bugbear. They had the parallel port pass through that allowed you to daisy chain your parallel port printer. So long as you don't have an Epson printer. The scanner wanted the LPT port set to EPP mode, the printers worked properly on ECP mode. They would usually only play nicely if you set the port to 'standard' mode, in which case both devices coexisted but only worked at a quarter of the speed! Fitting a second LPT port was the usual solution, and running the printer and scanner off different ports, configured correctly.
I'm glad those days are behind me, I really am!
Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player. I DON'T work for or on behalf of EON.Next, but am willing to try and help if I can. Not on mains gas, mobile network or mains drainage. House heated almost entirely by baby dragons.
If its the BOL then I doubt that DCC can bulk fix it - it would be a supplier specific problem. @Beki_EONNext says its a DCC bulk fix that's needed. They are getting data but its all blank. The issue is whether the data is actually getting to the DCC, and getting lost there, or whether its not getting to the DCC at all from the Communications Hub, which is then primarily a supplier issue. Although similar to SMETS1 migration the DCC might be intimately involved.
@Karln Thank you so much for coming back to let the Community know what's going on.
We had been investigating this further when Karln let us know re the water and IHD. These things can happen so no sad faces here! 😊
It was a pleasure talking to you though and just reach out if you need more support with anything in the future.

I got my information from the v3.1 User Interface Specification, as published by DCC. That is a very weighty tome but effectively a section of the 'manual' that is used by energy companies and other involved 3rd parties (e.g. Hildebrand) to access the DCC systems.
My flatbed scanner went through a couple of belts and then gave up the ghost. I replaced it with an all in one inkjet, in which I've never inserted the ink cartridges as I use an OKI duplex laser for all my printing needs - in black only. And I refill the toner from a big bottle of photocopier toner, and replace the end of life chips with replacements from the internet. Every little helps.
