I am a Prepayment Meter customer (Gas & Electric) and I was moved from NPower to EonNext in March 2021. In all that time I have not received a single statement about my account. The only time I have had ANY contact from Eon Next was emails in September 2021 and 1st March 2022 telling me my prices are going up the following month. I have looked into getting a Smart Meter or changing to a Normal Meter but Eon Next is not currently offering either of these options. Advice and explanation would be greatly appreciated.
As far as I know the prepayment meters do get a summary statement once a year. I also double checked and sees to still be the case. I have sent you a DM to see if we perhaps I can direct you to the right source and find a solution to this matter.
I think I'll ask @Bennie_EONNext to help out with this one, as I can't access your account.

I am sorry for the late reply. Usually for prepayment customers we issue a statement every 6 months. About the opportunity of exchange prepayment meters to normal or smart meters, we don't offer this option at the moment, but we can log in your interest and make sure we will be in touch when we can do the exchange for you.
@Bennie_EONNext
Why are prepayment customers only given statements every 6 months when all other customers get them monthly?
And why have I not received ANY?
I’ve been with EonNext for 12 months. I should have received 2 statements by the usual standard but I haven’t received any.
@Bennie_EONNext I agred with @JNicolls Only communicatio with Eon for notice of transfer and price increases. Last statement for eiter pre-payment meter being March 2021. Eon not offering change of meter to keep people on the most exoensive option??
In regards to prepayment statements, for all information needed (meter readings, credit amounts etc.) unit rates and changes have also been sent via email/letter, so you would always be informed, can been found directly from your prepayment meter by cycling through the screens. Hence us not giving you regualr statements 😊. I am also sorry that you haven't received anything from us @JNicholls. I will chase this up now and let you know!

I know that this is quite an old thread but I was trying to find out about statements on prepayment accounts.
I saw that you've posted above: "Usually for prepayment customers we issue a statement every 6 months"
The last statement that I received was 2nd December 2021 from Eon just before my account was transferred
to Eon Next, why have I not received any from yourselves?
Can you confirm when prepayment accounts receive a statement/summary of usage please?
Since my last statement that you mentioned, things have changed. We now send one statement per year. Pre-payment meters have the ability to check the top ups and the usage within their setting and therefore there will be only one statement per year which will have a summary for the whole year.
You should receive yours soon if the last one was the 2nd of December 2022.
