It would seem letters have now landed with our lovely Prepayment customers in relation to making sure you have an E.ON Next key or you could be charged more/might not be paying the right amount.
The letter is a little unclear so I wanted to clear a couple of things up here if you're one of those who have received this letter.
If you were previously with nPower or E.ON Energy, and currently have an nPower, E.ON, EDF or E.ON Next key, you won't need to do anything or get in touch.
The letter is only intended for those who have another suppliers key (sorry, this should have been clearer! πΆ) as these keys (for example British Gas) won't be compatible with the over the air updates which we send out to update your meters pricing details, and could result in you being charged incorrectly.
If you've received a letter, and you have one of the keys mentioned above, you don't need to worry and won't have to do anything π (So please pop your letter in the recycling! β»π)
If you don't have one of the keys above, please send us a message on Facebook or Twitter (we're available there 24 hours currently!) So we can sort you a brand spanking new key pronto!
