My old e.on app has stopped working with instructions to download the e.on next appvwhichbi have done.
However i simply can not find anyway of making payment to my smartmeter? It was so easy to do before on old app but this one its impossible to find anyway of making payment. Ive clicked on take me to website where i supposedly can make payment thats as bad still no way to make payment!
It's ridiculous. I'll need to top up soon and have no way of doing so.
I also keep getting emails to say my e.on next account is ready and to reset password. Its like its just an email on a loop that arrives every couple of days despite resetting pass word it's ridiculous.
@here Hey there, Beki here. Have you created an E.ON Next account? You'll need to do this by (link removed) to set up your password. Then, you should be able to sign in on the app or top up online.

Yes and the new app now lets me select top up but after entering amount I wish to pay and selecting pay with debit/credit card it comes up saying there is a problem. Its going to be a big problem soon as getting low on electric and i cant top up!!
If you have the top-up cards you can had to any PayPoint to top-up. You might also be able to use Payzone as well. If you don't have any, please reply to this thread.

@Red Yes you can call us and we can take a payment over the phone - there is a long wait at the moment. You can also download your barcode and take this to the payzone/paypoint/post office and top up that way.
If you get this can you pop me a message to let me know you are on supply?
Just so peoples are aware that although
i am lucky in that the app started working so was able to top up, i did try taking bar code to postoffice to top up. However this also did not work and simply gave an error code.
Lets hope all these gremlins have been laid to rest now 🤞
