My tariff has recently changed from an EON fixed rate to the present EON Next variable rate. Despite this, my smart meter in house display is still showing I'm on the old tariff.
I appreciate the energy used is showing correctly. However, I presume the cost of the energy used is now incorrect.
Any idea how long it takes for the smart meter to be updated as I'm concerned it's now showing inaccurate cost?
It should be pretty quick to catch up, but yeah. Usually within a few days or so.
@Beki_EONNext was around earlier, so she might be able to fling Update Tariff Configuration at your meters which should sort things out. You'll still be billed on the correct rates anyway but it's worth remembering the IHD is only a guide.

@dprice8893 Heya, it's Beki here. I have tried to have a look for your account with your community email address but unfortunately it isn't linked to one we have on our system. If you pop the digi team a message on Facebook/Twitter they will be able to send a tariff update to your IHD which is super easy and will come onto effect from midnight 😍
Hi thanks for all the replies and assistance. The meter updated yesterday and after a glitch or two, seems to have settled down.
I just need to get used to the significantly higher prices displayed now my cheap fix has ended. This starts first thing in the morning with the standing charges applied and continues with the higher cost per unit, and we haven't seen Aprils increase yet:-(
