having moved from npower a few years ago with a smart meter in place, why is it impossible to book an appointment for eon to install a new compatible meter?? ive been waiting years with no sign of anything happening anytime soon.
in contrast, I have just booked my mum's smart meter within 30 seconds of logging into her british gas account!!
I'm theunknowntech and I'm exactly the kind of expert you're after here. I could do with seeing some photos of your meters though, as I adapt my advice dynamically based on what you've got. In theory though, your meters should reconnect eventually but it may take a while. You can't usually book an upgrade if you already have smart meters though.
