Hey @Sclem28 your post has indeed been seen by theunknowntech. I'm only a forum volunteer myself though so I'm unable to action such a request. However, @PeterT_EONNext is online and he might be able to stop by.
Just as a heads up, there may be a charge for this service. From memory, the cost is roughly £125 for a Single-Phase electric meter or £325 for a Three-Phase electric meter. If you'd like to move the gas meter as well, it'll cost around £145 for that. If you're not sure what kind of electric meter you've got, feel free to post a few snaps and I'll be happy to identify it for you.
You'll also probably need to involve your DNO as well. If you can tell me what region you're in, I'll be able to locate the right contact details for you.Last edited by theunknowntech; 18-02-22 at 14:51. Reason: Helps if I don't say Three-Phase Gas Meter!
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Hi @Sclem28 👋 Welcome to the Community!
I'm sorry to hear that you've had trouble getting through to us on the phone. Due to all the changes happening at the moment within the industry, and the new price cap news, we're receiving a lot of calls so it can be harder to get through on the phone right now.
There's a couple of things to check here. Firstly, is the meter being moved more than one metre along the same wall? If this isn't the case, an appointment can be booked to have just the meter moved.
If the meter is being moved further than a metre, or to the opposite side of the wall, you'll need to firstly contact your distribution network operator who will need to move the cables before we can book an appointment to move the meter (if you don't know who your network operator is, we can let you know and give you their contact details).
There's a one-off charge for this appointment which is £157.86. Your distribution network operator will discuss with you any further costs should any of the cables need to be moved also.
The best way to get this booked in would be to speak with one of our Digital Energy Specialists over on Facebook or Twitter (you can send a private message on either platform). Digital Energy Specialists are available 24/7 and are usually able to get back to you quite quickly, so you should be able to get this booked in if you make contact over there.
