I usually qualify to receive the Warm Home Discount due to disability, but since the changeover to Eon.next every time I hit the 'apply now' button I get redirected back to the 'my account' page. Does this mean I've already applied for this eligible period and received it already and I am being automatically rejected, or is there some other issue?
The eligibility period for WHD and the mad scramble to apply at the appropriate time before registration closes every year is already confusing and frustrating at best - although I'm reasonably functional my disability causes me to have memory issues and I find it difficult to remember what I apply for and exactly when.
A simple message along the lines of 'you've already applied for this year', or a note in 'my account' would be helpful.
I've been wanting to test for any such bugs, but unfortunately I'm not a customer myself so I can't. I'm only a forum volunteer here. The window to apply closes pretty soon if memory serves, so let me see if the great wizard @PeterT_EONNext can help you get things underway. I suspect this is a bug that also needs to be fixed. I'll ask Peter to feed that back for you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the Warm Home Discount page on our website - this certainly shouldn't be happening so I'll feed this back to our tech team 👨💻
What I can confirm though is that you have already received payment for the 2021/2022 period. If you check your previous bills from E.ON Energy (you can access these from your E.ON Next online account) Should the website not have looped back around, you would have received a rejection email shortly after just advising you that you've already received it for this period, so thanks for bringing this to our attention.
You can do this by clicking on 'View bills and payments' and then click on the 'Bills' tab - you'll see the bill dated December lists the payment.
this thread dates from last year’s payment. The criteria , amount, and process are all different This year. Many more people will qualify but disability on its own no longer qualifies. There are special threads on this topic - please search for them.
Current Eon Next customer, ex EDF, Zog and Symbio. Don't think dual fuel saves money and don't like smart meters. Chronologically Gifted. If I offend let me know by private message, but I’ll continue to express my opinions nonetheless.
Unless you are in Scotland, you don't need to apply this year. The DWP will automatically send you a letter if you qualify. That could be any time between now and March.
