I have constantly had issues with readings, I have been advised that the meters should automatically send them to E-ON but I have checked my readings and in a month its gone up by 1300 just on the electric which looks absolutely incorrect! Could someone advise how to get this checked?

Could you show me some photos of the meters please? There's something I want to check. Could you also roughly describe what you'd consider your average energy use to be? This helps me out a lot. From this info, I'll see if I can work out what might be happening.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

@Lyndz Heya! Do you have smart meters? If so, the may need a little tech input our end to get them sending readings properly again.

@Beki_EONNext these meters I had with a prepay provider, E-ON said before I got moved to E-ON Next that they have been upgraded and should get the readings automatically but the last time this happened was in December and with the price hike I want to know where I am, I havent been given an in home display so I have no idea what I am using but know my average spend.

@Lyndz Sorry, I'm just a little confused. Do you pay for your energy before you use is (prepayment meters?) I think it would be a good idea to get the Energy Specialists on Facebook/Twitter to do a smart meter health check to see what's happening.
