Never any issues with E.ON and now the problems start.I have tried to give my Meter Readings before I change my Tariff but everything is blank on my house meters. And they say they cant get reading of my Smart Meter, never had a reading since December & no word from them about this!....never had any problems in the past and always been able to send my house meter readings if asked for,only since they changed in December has this been an issue. The cheapest Tariff I have been quoted is going up to £202 from £118 per month so the need to send an accurate reading to see if it will drop a little! Only me here so not using that much! So what now?
So you've been switched from Eon to Eon next.? When you say your meters are blank are you referring to your in house display or the actual meters themselves?
If the meters are blank then that is a matter for Eon next to resolve urgently.
Hi, Can anybody tell me why my quoted prices are different please?
I'm looking at the different tariffs available to me and was wondering why the price per month quoted on the renewal options page was different to the review page once a tariff has been selected?
On the quote page Next Online v13 is being quoted at £138.49 per month, and then on the review page it's gone up to £148.25 per month for 12 months (after which it's then reduced down to the originally quoted price) - that's hardly being transparent about costs and wondered why the £148 wasn't shown from the off?
@Beki_EONNext
HI Beki I have been trying to talk to a real person to no avail today as EON next don't seem to be answering the phone.
My fix term is about to finish and I currently have a DD of £73 month and am over £200 in credit. Why then has my DD for Next online been increased to £173 month which is approx 125% increase and more than £500 per year more than if I took out the Next Flex account?
Unsure what to do as I am on a fixed income and this is a hell of a rise. Should I do Next Flex and keep an eye on account and then make additional payments or is the 125% increase the same for everyone.
Help appreciated please

I have tried that number all day and no-one has picked up, how do I get to speak to someone? EON used to be so good at speaking to customers, what's going on? I don't do Twitter, it s wrong to assume everyone uses these platforms
@mandyc I'm in the same boat - the Next Flex is the cheapest tariff because it's price capped. All the fixed tariffs are so much more expensive and over double the unit charges of the capped price (because the companies want to claw back as much as possible with fixed tariffs).
It's a tough decision to make for either saving money now, or having price certainty for the next year when prices are likely to increase again in October.
if you are quoted for the next flex that is a variable rate account limited by the price cap until 1 October 2022. We do not know for sure what will happen to rates after that. A fix tariff will not change the rates until the fix comes to an end. So it covers both the price capped periods we know about and the next ones that we don't know about.
Current unit prices and standing charges are much higher than your fix rate that's just ending and another increase in the variable rates is due on 1 April. 2022. Switching from a fix rate to current rates is painful as prices have moved up so much in the past year.
@PeterT_EONNext
Hi there just been notified today that my direct debit payments are increasing from £116 per month to £279 per month that's almost 250%increase and I was £426 in credit as well... Now I know they were set to increase but surely not by that much that is a scam of epic proportions surely????
