Smart meter problems

@Ozzymarc Heya, Beki here 👋 So I can see on your account that the smart meter stopped sending us readings on the 24th Jan for some reason, however, I think I have fixed this and requested an adhoc reading. I have also sent an update to your IHD so could you keep it up and running, plugged in etc overnight and I'll check back tomorrow? 😊

So I've tried restarting IHD, taking battery out then reinsert ING, all while standing next to meter, and all the time it still says 'Searching for meters'
Really starting to P me off now.
I need to monitor usage as I'm on both Cancer AND Covid benefits and can't afford to spend to much

Further news, the IHD started giving readings for a while, except it was for gas!! I don't have gas at all here, I rebooted the IHD yet again and it's gone back to 'Searching for meters' 🙄
How hard can it be to reset a Smart meter, seriously??
Anyway, my contract is up on March 31st, if it's not fixed by 24th, I'll go elsewhere, I rely heavily on the IHD, to plan usage.
And Customer service really couldn't care less.
I've been waiting a month for this to be sorted now -
@Ozzymarc Sorry for the delayed responses. It's half term here so I am not on as much as I can be with 3 cherubs running around. Joys of home working I suppose.
I've had another look at your account and everything is all set up our end, however, for some reason the meter itself isn't sending us half hourly readings and hasn't been since 25th Jan. Can you have a look at your meter, and above it/around it should be a smaller white box which was call the Communication Hub. Could you let me know what the lights are doing on there please? -

Hi, sorry, I didnt realise about the home working stuff etc
If it's the box I think it is there are lights SW, WAN, HAN, these flashgreen every 4 or 5 seconds.
Also, my IHD has again kicked in as a Gas monitor!!?
I took photos of both, but seems you can't attach halfway through a thread, only the initial start of a thread.
Is there actually no way I can reset the meter from here?

Ahh... That doesn't sound right. Are you sure the GAS light is dark? It should be pulsing at five second intervals, along with the SW, WAN and HAN lights. If it's dead, the gas meter has almost certainly disconnected from the network.Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

But it shouldn't show Gas at all, none of the residents here have gas, only Electricity.
My surprise was that it showed Gas at all on the IHD, as I only have Electricity.
Now I've rebooted the IHD, it's gone back to 'Searching for meters'
