Can you turn off all other devices and try to reset your IHD3? Unplug it from the mains and hold down the power button on the back for five seconds. Wait one minute, reconnect to power and switch it on. Can you leave your device plugged in and near the meter, for a week or so?

Yeah that listing makes me smell a rat. I can't say too much on an open forum but I'm not convinced that seller has legitimately obtained over 500 IHDs like that. If you're able to, I'd recommend returning it for a refund at this point or invoking eBay Buyer Protection to force a refund if they won't budge.

I have had it on and done the reset multiple times it’s been sat on for about 4 weeks now so I have already done that. I have reset it numerous times as well stood by the meter with it, everything
@Beki_EONNext thank you that will be great because I have been told numerous times this can’t be done. It’s great to finally speak to someone who knows what to do. They told me on email if it’s not working basically it is tough luck and that they can’t send an engineer. Thank you for all your help I appreciate it. How will I know once this has been actioned please
@emmajayne91 I sent the request yesterday so when the smart team email me back they will most likely ask me to book an appointment. I'm unsure on timescales atm though. 😊

i do not wish to hijack the thread. Just to say your twitter guys told me to go to Amazon and buy a universal IHD. I have smarts one and non working days had as well
Thanks John, we dont currently replace IHDs for smets1 meters as they are no longer available and the smets 2 ihds would not work with your current meter. you can purchase universal IHDs from places like amazon as a solution until you get a smets 2 installed. apologise for the inconvenience
@Johnelf @Beki_EONNext. Yes that’s exactly what I was told too John. So the problem lies with Eon Next staff members. They shouldn’t be telling customers to buy new IHDs they should be booking engineers out to fix the issue like Beki has done for me. I was told this through Facebook messenger and through email.
