I was with Npower until something like Jan 21.... I had 575.00 in credit.
Then I was moved to Eon Next..... and suddenly they decide I have a Pre Payment metre.. They even send me a key !!. so I call them.. they said send a reading.. I did.... no reply...
I called again.. they said .. send a picture of your meter.. I did.. no reply..
so I emailed again.. they said.. send a picture of your metre again and does it have a serial number on it.. No it doesnt... no reply...
so I emailed.... and I emailed... no reply.. they said they are not receiving emails...so I checked the address again and again and it was correct.... it does not bounce back to me so it must be correct..... maybe its in their spam folder...
so in the mean time.... I don't pay for electricity.. and I cant get through on the phone as no one answers... the web page is useless.. I cant send an email as they dont receive it... so I am now on a forum.....
I DONT HAVE A PRE PAYMENT METER ... I am not paying for electricity.. i want to pay for electricity.. are you suddenly going to help me and then decide I owe millions of pounds !! help... send a engineer or tell me what to do!! and Where is my 575.00 credit from N Power.... I am so FRUSTRATED !!
I'm theunknowntech, a forum volunteer who doesn't work for E.On or E.On Next, so I'm completely independent of them,
I think I can help solve this puzzle properly. Would you be OK to post some photos of your meter here please? I can double check that it definitely isn't a Prepayment Meter just to be sure, and then recommend the next steps from there.
To be honest though, it's almost impossible to feed a Prepayment Meter over £500 of credit at once too - most suppliers don't allow that! It's clear to me that something has gone badly wrong with your account...

@theunknowntech... Thankyou for your response.. I know its not a pre payment meter as there is no where to post a key and also.. I have no card and also I have not paid any electricity for a year ! I also put on my meter readings but I get no response....

It was indeed a missed meter exchange which we managed to get sorted out and then @AndreaNez account all up and running smoothly again! Team work at its finest!
suppliers can only bill you for the last 12 months in these circumstances. Check out citizens advice on the topic
