Can EONnext staff identify themselves on these forums by their username ? So people know who is responding. So we can distinguish between EONnext "official" responses from other helpful suggestions.

Hey there @Daljit, thanks so much, that's a great point. It used to say 'staff' under our names when we replied but it seems to have disappeared with the new update. Let me look into this to see what I can do 😊

It still does that correctly for me - albeit with the renamed forum ranks - both on mobile and desktop. Perhaps they could just be made a bit more visible?

Ah you've spotted our leaf! It just happens to be one of the brand characters that we have at E.ON Next, myself and Beki took a bit of a shine to that one in particular so both ended up with one as our profile pic. So not officially a way to spot us, but in theory yes.

As unknowntech has mentioned, we have our job titles under our names (so mine should say Head of Community) but we totally take on board your feedback. We actually had a meeting yesterday to talk about how we can make it really obvious we're staff and have a couple of options we're working through.

One is adding a small badge to either our profile pictures or sitting underneath that says staff. Another option is exactly like you've said, we add staff or E.ON Next to our usernames so it's really clear.

Both/either are quick fixes so you should see some changes in the next week or so!

Thanks again for raising this point, we're still quite a new community and it's feedback like this that really helps us get it right for you all.

Hannah here 👋 super old thread I know!

I just wanted to clear this up, and update our new members 😊 all E.ON Next staff will have _EONNext at the end of their name.
We also have 'Community Team' or 'Staff' under our little avatar on the left hand side. I hope that clears things up!
