We were switched automatically to E-On Next from Igloo when Igloo went into administration in October 2021. Since that switch (more than 6 weeks ago), we have only been having estimated bills despite having a smart meter installed by Igloo in May 2021.
I've noted several possibilities as to what the issue may be - namely, a scheduling issue that @Beki seems to solve. Is that what is going on in our case as well? Might someone be able to check? I can't see how/where I can make any adjustments on my end to let the smart meter know we have changed providers and understand E-ON controls that.
@jaymereaves, I have had a look at this and it seems to be the same situation with billing/reading schedule. I have had SO many of these recently I think I am going to have to give some feedback. Anyway, all sorted for you now and hopefully come 8th Feb you will have readings being submitted daily! 🤞
Well, it seems that Beki has been getting unusually lucky with flinging those SMETS Commands recently, so I'll fire up another Beki Flare and see if that works. If it doesn't, I can try to help with diagnostics.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

You know Beki, it seems like while your one meter at a time fixes are probably working, it's not exactly very... Efficient...
I think you need to probably do what I'd do and overengineer the solution. Maybe build up some kind of script that polls literally EVERY meter under your control to check the read schedule status, gather up a list of all the ones that aren't configured properly and then fling all of those at once with the right commands to set them all up in bulk. It should only take a few million SMETS Commands or so. You totally won't crash DCC in the process! XD
Or even better... Just fling SMETS Commands to every single meter under your control and force the read schedules on all of them anyway. 😁
@theunknowntech Yes... I do agree one by one is working, however is not efficient at all. In regards to the technical stuff... I'll send it to the tech team 😆
