I've tried four different browsers without success<br>The <strong><em>Insert Image</em></strong> dialog has JavaScript errors and does not allow me to upload a photo<br>
Ta. I've had a ton of issues with uploading images here today. I'll try to see if I can figure it out and get Beki on the case. This forum also uses BBCode rather than HTML, try using [] rather than <> :)
I think I might have also broken something when I accidentally crashed part of the forum today. I was only trying to clear out my notifications, honest! Beki has let me off this time... But I hope I don't trigger it again. It's possible those JS errors might be related.
I think I can see where your problem lies. It's that pesky Radio Teleswitch to the right of your meter. In fact, your meter is well overdue for recertification, based on the 10 year lifespan rule that covers most meters. Even for a 20 year lifespan one, it's still at least three years overdue.
CAUTION! Possible safety issue identified!
It seems your main fuse is missing a seal, which is a really bad thing. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible, so I'd recommend flagging that up with customer service to make the arrangements. Please don't touch any of that in the meantime or you might get zapped.

The technician who came to fit the smart meter last time did point out that there were a few things which needed to be sorted out.
I think some of the cables are undersized by current standards.
We've lived here for 37 years and nothing has ever been serviced in there since the Economy 7 switch was added
No worries, it probably is all due for a service or two then! :)
A local electrician can definitely help you out with the internal wiring, but you'll need to get E.On and your DNO to deal with that main fuse. Strictly speaking, fixing a new seal on that main fuse is the responsibility of your DNO, but unless that DNO happens to be Western Power Distribution (who are epic by the way!), it's easier going in via customer service for your supplier in the first instance.
