Yeah, the Bright app pulls directly from the meter rather than the IHD. That error code is a bad sign and you should never see that. Geo Together probably does use the CAD features of your IHD so no connection means no CAD.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

Can I jump on this thread as well, please? I have a Geo Trio II IHD and its shows as awaiting data from Electricity and Gas, reading through the various comments I'm thinking I should be able to pair it to my meters? It did initially work when the meter was swapped out as the engineer gave me the IHD but since then (18months ago) it stopped working and EON were saying due to Covid they wouldn't be able to help resolve. Any help would be gratefully received
@johnhutch71 It may be worth opening the meter box (electric not gas), powering the IHD with a USB power bank and looking at the HAN light on the meter to see if it flashes. When my IHD was working it had to be quite close to the meter (within a couple of metres) for it to work. It may be worth leaving it in the meter box for a couple of hours to see if it comes back to life. If it doesn't it may need to be re-paired.
I would highly advise that you get in touch with our Digi Experts over on Facebook (@eonnext) or Twitter (@eon_next) which is usually quicker and easier than the phones or if you prefer giving us a ring, know that our lines are open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. For home related calls it's 0808 501 5200 or for business related calls it's 0808 501 5699.
We can look to see if your meters are all connected and sending readings and then go from there.
@Beki Well my problem got solved by a 3 hour power cut today. When the power came back on I have full signal strength on the meter and the IHD is now working. The tariffs are incorrect but that's a minor issue.
I can ask @Beki_EONNext to force the correct tariff rates for you. She's been doing that a lot recently, so I hope I'm not burning her out!
It's amazing what power cuts can do though sometimes. Effectively, an outage that long would have caused the backup battery to run out and the Comms Hub to shut down. After the power came back up, both your electric meter and comms hub would have done a full reboot and self-diagnostic. Don't worry about the backup battery, it will recharge within a few days or so. :)
Just an update, no contact from Eon and my ihd is still not working. That is another 5 months gone now.
Seriously thinking at another aproach to sort the issue.
