I have spent a week waiting for am email response from Eon. The response arrived today and it left me seething. I was asked by Charles Smith to send my address and account number so he could look into my query. The first thing written on the email I sent was my name, followed by my address and account number, then a description of my SMET IHDL smartview 2 and the problems I was experiencing. I would have hoped for a better response and confirmation that my issue was being handled and taken seriously. Honestly I despair.
Thank you so much for your patience whilst we were awaiting your meter technical details to be updated. This can take some time, especially with the energy crisis, migrating accounts causing delays. I am delighted to let you know that the details have now been updated on your account and we will begin to poll readings from your meter daily from 14th January! Hoorah! I have a reminder to check on your readings on the 25th Jan, so please leave this with me - you have not been forgotten about. We can then reset your IHD and hopefully it begins to receive data. 😊

I was disappointed to learn at the 11 hour that my book appointment for this p.m. had been cancelled. I had hoped that after nearly 3 weeks a solution to my problems was in sight.
Looks like this thread went stale. Let me get @PeterT_EONNext on the case again.

Hi, it has been sorted, well sort off. Came into the kitchen to find the display split between electricity and gas…..you don’t supply my gas! An idea what’s going on now🤷♀️
