Hiya everyone, sorry you're all having similar problems with your smart meters, I know how frustrating it is as it happened to me too. For the majority you can reset, or we can force the readings through. We just need your details. If you are still having problems, drop me a private message and we'll see what I can do. Hat
I have tried emailing Eon, but they did not answer my questions, but just sent me another statement. It was in relation to the statement that I was asking questions.
Can someone tell me if the reading that Eon use from my SMART meter is the import or Export reading?
Can someone tell me if the daily cost indicated on my in home device includes the daily standing charge and VAT?
Should the cost on my in home device match that on my meter?
@Hatwildeman my IHD same issue, and also meters not sending any readings to EON, few month since they're down...
I am all sorted now. I had been trying to contact Eon and I should have been contacting Eon Next. My in house device is working fine now, except when it keeps telling me to move it closer to the meters. Impossible, they are outside. The IHD is in a window, facing the gas meter, which is only about a metre away.
Hat no longer actively monitors the community. I think your issue might be the read schedule one, so I'll call on @DebF_EONNext to see if she's able to take a look.
Just another guy passing by... The unknown tech way...

@theunknowntech thanks for the @ 😊
@Nessie I'm glad you're all sorted now
@samuelmaran I've taken a look at your account & can see that your not on supply with us for a few more days yet. When you switch or migrate supplier your smart meter may lose signal for a while, this is normal so please don't worry, if you have any questions you can reach out to our digital energy specialists on any of our social media platforms & they will be able to help you or better still take a look through the forum & see if anyone else has asked before you might find your question has already been answered by another community member!
@DebF_EONNext please could you investigate my smart meter too - it sends the gas readings perfectly, and used to send electric to my previous provider, but since moving to eon.next, it no longer sends the electric readings, and i've been fobbed off now since December with various stories of "we're waiting a national update", "we're sending a fix". "we're sending a reset". Nothing has worked.
Can anyone help, I have a similar issue been going on for months, smart meter can send gas readings, but electricity readings are not being sent. Was working fine previously with scottish energy. no longer working since moving to eon.next. Smart meter is about 12 months old so one of the newer sort.

Hey @spacedmonkeys 👋 I can see that one of our smart team has already escalated this over to the DCC for you. It can take a while for them to get back in touch but I've chased this with smart for you & hopefully it won't be too long now. I've also set your billing & read schedules up to match the gas so that when we do get the communications back your electricity will be set up to poll a reading & bill on the same day as the gas.
Could it just be that Smart Meters and the systems behind them just are not up to scratch. I can port my mobile phone to a new supplier within one day - smart meter go dumb when customers move (or are moved) to a new supplier. Where is the benefit?
For those affected send your meter readings in via your suppliers website each month and log the details on paper or a spreadsheet. then you have records.
